A collection of papers using mostly comparative methods, this book discusses topical issues from the areas of contract and torts, crime and criminal procedure, international conventions, human rights and environmental law, and suggests that the move towards European unity, despite its ups and downs, is proceeding apace, even though unity does not (and need not) imply uniformity.
